Our Story

Welcome to Bay Dar!
Founded in 2018, Bay Dar is dedicated to preserving Myanmar’s traditional arts and crafts while creating meaningful opportunities for local artisans. We work directly with independent makers and small local businesses, ensuring every purchase supports cultural heritage and strengthens artisan livelihoods.
Our curated collection features organically dyed natural cotton and silk textiles, handwoven by skilled women, as well as hand-crafted pottery and other timeless creations. Each piece reflects generations of craftsmanship and care.
From everyday wear to special occasions, our fashion pieces bring natural elegance through cotton and silk. Complete your look with our wide range of handmade jewelry and accessories.
At Bay Dar, every item is chosen with purpose, crafted with skill, and made to inspire.
