BayDar’s aim is to preserve and rejuvenate the cultural heritage and historical value of Myanmar’s traditional arts & crafts and to create more jobs by collaborating with local artisans.

BayDar is a socially responsible business enterprise that supports local businesses and independent artisans of Myanmar. BayDar brings together art and influence: every successful sale brings in cultural and economic change to some of Myanmar’s borderline communities and in supporting the skills of local artisans.

BayDar’s objective is to create a perpetual effect on the lives of its artisan partners by providing them with further training as well as socioeconomic benefits. BayDar features a curated collection that is handpicked by our team of experts. Our collection features items ranging from organic dyed natural cotton and silk fabrics, made by native women of Myanmar who are skilled in traditional hand-weaving techniques to hand-crafted pottery, made by native artisans.
