These beautiful textiles are originally produced by the women belonging to ethnic tribes called "Mro-Khimi" who lives in Northern Myanmar, are known for being the leading producers of traditional back strap loom weaving in Myanmar. They use the world's most ancient technique of back strap loom to weave intricate textile designs from patterns which have been handed down from mother to daughter through generations.
Using natural dyed hand spun cotton threads, each piece are designed in the details of traditional tribe pattern. Every design and pattern are a pride and joy for them and a dignified income for their families.
